I ordered an item because it showed as in stock, but then the order got canceled afterward. That part was weird since the site made it seem like it was available.

I found a coupon for a couple hobby kits, so that was nice and saved me a bit. But most of the other discounts felt kinda small. Defintely worth a look, just don’t go in expecting huge savings

I ordered a model kit from oakridgehobbies.com and overall it was actually really good. The parts fit together nicely, nothing felt flimsy or cheap, and the box showed up in good shape, which I always appreciate. I was impressed at first, then kind of like, okay yeah, this is just a decent product doing what it should. No drama, no broken pieces, just a solid kit. I’m happy with it, though I guess I’m not jumping up and down about it or anything

I found what I was looking for quickly, and checkout was simple enough. I’m not sure there’s much else to say, but it all seemed to work smoothly for me

I was happy browsing Oakridge Hobbies. They’ve got a nice mix of model kits and supplies, and I found a few things I swear the bigger sites either bury on purpose or pretend don’t exist. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it’s always interesting when the smaller shop has the good stuff sitting right there.
I’m giving it 4 stars because a couple items I wanted were out of stock, which made me wonder if everyone else is secretly hoarding the same kits lately. Still, the site was easy to use, I found most of what I needed, and I’d definitely shop there again

The item itself was totally fine, no drama there. But the return process? Very much a “please enjoy our endless waiting game” situation. My refund took forever, and I had to email them twice just to get things moving. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely not what I’d call a smooth experience.

Am I the only one who finds the product descriptions a little too vague? I was looking at some hobby kits, and while a few had the basic info, I still couldn’t really tell things like the size, what parts were included, or what skill level they were meant for. It just makes it harder to feel confident about what you’re actually buying. The site itself looks fine, but I’d definitely expect more detailed descriptions before placing an order. Not a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating.

Checkout went smoothly for me. I liked that there were a few ways to pay instead of it being just one card option, because that always feels more trustworthy somehow. I used PayPal and it went through without any drama, and the confirmation email showed up fast.

Customer service did get back to me, so I’ll give them that, but it took a little while and I still had to deal with sorting out the missing piece. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating when you’re trying to finish a project and need the exact parts you ordered...

I ordered a couple of hobby parts for myself, and I was happy with how they arrived. The box had a small dent on it, but i only cared that my stuff inside was safe, and it was. Everything was wrapped nicely, nothing was loose, and none of my parts were broken. It did take me a minute to get through all the tape, which was a little annoying, but I’d rather deal with that than have my order show up damaged. I’d give it 4 stars.
